1. Overview of Taxes and Fees
The total price of any travel booking made through Travyara.com consists of two broad components: (a) the base fare or rate set by the travel supplier, and (b) applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges imposed by governments, airport authorities, and carriers. As an ARC-accredited independent travel agency (ARC No: 45572424), Hydra Travels Inc. is legally obligated to collect and remit certain taxes and charges on behalf of the relevant authorities. - Government-Imposed Taxes: Levied by federal, state, or foreign governments on air travel, and remitted by us to the relevant tax authority.
- Airport and Passenger Facility Charges: Levied by airport authorities to fund terminal infrastructure and passenger services.
- Carrier-Imposed Surcharges: Set by airlines and other travel suppliers, including fuel surcharges and international carrier charges.
- U.S. Federal Security and Immigration Fees: Collected by us on behalf of agencies such as the TSA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and USDA/APHIS.
- Travyara Service Fees: Charged by Hydra Travels Inc. in consideration of the professional travel agency services we provide.
